I’ve actually heard people say things like “just you wait, if Obama gets elected this country will be DOWN THE TUBES”. Husband thinks it’s codespeak for “Oh noes, we got a fer prez!”

That I am not a Barak Obama suporter has nothing to do with his supposed links to Islam. The man professes Christ as Lord and Savior. Good enough for me. I have not the ability to descern any falseness in this. Only God can judge Barak’s heart. I too needed a savior. I profess Christ, and that I am still not perfected says more about slow personal growth than it does about the truth that lives in my heart.

I’ve enjoyed the debate that Barak’s canidacy has brought to this election cycle. However I find his lack of practical experience in government, and policy concerning. The solutions presented during the primary campaign were at best simplistic, and at worst lacked any substance. Those that make a living following politics believe that to win the presidency Barak Obama will move more to the center. One of the most interesting questions is this: Who will feel most betrayed if Barak wins the presidency, the people that got him the nomination, or those that believe he has moved to the center?

    As an aside…
I find it an interesting comment on our nation and culture that ridiculous internet accusations directed to the political “right” are instantly viewed as credible, while those directed toward the political “left” are viewed as devisive and paranoid. Let’s face it, ridiculous crap is ridiculous crap.
