A few months ago we had a few “problems” with the dogs trying to escape. I rigged an elaborate and probably excessive enclosure around and above the kennel to thwart any further escape attempts. I can’t imagine trying to stop the dog in the following video from escaping. This dog has done the impossible. The feat is Houdiniesque.

Holy crap, that’s TALENT…. obviously a really irritating and dangerous talent, but still….
The worse we’ve had was Rogie learning to pop the latch on his kennel. His nickname ’round here is “Big Dumb Dog”, but he’s not actually so dumb. The problem is that his IQ never EVER gets used in a productive way… it seems to be strictly reserved for creating chaos. Not sure how that works, but he’s consistent.
