When I deployed I lived in a half of one of those conex thingies. Was lucky enough to not have a room mate which was amazing. I once slept through a rocket attack. I woke up at about 10PM to a pounding at my door. Grabbed my M9 and went to answer. It was my team leader. Apparently we had taken some rockets and they were checking up on folks. I was still asleep.
last time I was here I slept through alarm reds all of the time – on my way out of this place I fell asleep in the terminal to wake up and find everybody face first on the ground during a mortar attack, I just went back to sleep
