I was this excited That’s all I know (and all I’m telling) for now. Via a status update on Facebook, of all places, I learned that a friend of mine had committed suicide. I’m still struggling to understand how the kid I knew reached that point in his life. When I was 13 or 14 I spent many hours over at his house watching TV or playing [...] Havoc is getting bigger by the day! She will be 4 months old on Tuesday and is reaching 40lbs Since John is gone, he asked me to take pictures of everything and since some of them are pretty cute, I thought I’d share. I’m Sitting, Please throw ball [...] It’s that time once again. I’m set to get on a plane and travel half way across the planet away from everyone that I know and love. I’m headed to Iraq for another 4 month stint in what should be a relatively easy trip. I’ve got my bags packed and this time my [...] I’m 15 pages deep into Economics 201 I don’t know near enough to figure out what has and hasn’t work in our economy in the past few years. I’m sure that with one to two more years of study I still won’t know enough to figure it out. What I do know is that [...] Havoc – general destruction, devastation, desolation or wasting. In our case, its a little puppy that hasn’t destroyed anything as of yet. She does have a nose for socks and she always seems to find them. The smoked turkey turned out quite well and was a hit – a few people overlooked Jessica’s contribution until I pointed it out. They realized their error in logic and quickly told Jessica how much they liked her version. Jessica [...] Due to the federal holiday I am not required to be at work so I’ve got a few things planned. I’m heading to an animal shelter to check out a dog that needs a home. We’re hoping that we can provide that home. We’ll see how it goes in time. They want all other [...] Our 2nd annual Halloween party was another smashing success. Almost everyone that came to drink ended up getting smashed. Jessica’s entire family showed up this year complete with an RV to make Joe’s costume seem that much more authentic. As of Thursday, I have finally earned my associates degree.
