A few weeks ago Jessica and I woke up early and headed south to Mt St Helens with a 10 mile trail in our sights. She promptly fell asleep in the car as I drove south. We knew that the skies were cloudy and the forecast didn’t look that great but we were hoping [...] My parents were out last week and I took a bunch of photos. Rather than filling the gallery with a bunch of photos that will never be viewed I decided to share only my favorites. You can still check out the full sized versions in the gallery by clicking on the pop up icon (to the right of the camera icon). In no particular order of preference, here are the best photos from the week. You’ll notice that these are devoid of people because I’ve never been great at capturing natural expressions in good lighting. I may get one but I’ll seldom get two. I took 8-9 versions of this shot and thought that this was the best out of all of them. If you look at the full version you’ll see some jaggies throughout the image. What I wouldn’t do for a DSLR. You won’t be able to see any of the artifacts at this resolution you see on your screen. admin edit – photo removed admin edit – photo removed Well, it’s near the end of the month and many have failed to partake in the madness. I am one of the few left and its probably the most hideous abomination of a mustache on earth. Its so grotesque that I feared breaking my camera. I know that some of you are screaming at [...] I have a fantastic girlfriend who through many trials and tribulations acquired a pair of tickets to the Bears/Seahawks game. I have never been to an NFL game and I’ve obviously never seen the Bears play (in person). So, as you might guess, I’m excited about the whole deal. My nose will probably bleed [...] |
