When I woke up this morning I was thrilled to be walking around in 65 degree weather at 3AM until I realized that it was only going to get warmer from that point forward Even though I live on base it still feels like a third world country – my power is so unstable [...] For nine years I have been sporadically working on acquiring a single piece of paper. As of Thursday, I have finally earned my associates degree. While I don’t technically have the degree because they only award them twice a year and I’m in the middle of the window I still have all the required [...] I’m in my final math class for my associates degree and the equation above makes perfect sense to me. As a self proclaimed hater of math I somehow enjoy knowing what that equation means. I can actually visualize the graph of that parabola. I actually enjoy this class enough that I am going to [...] The test is over and now I can get back to my normal routine… oh wait a minute. I’ve got to register for a math class and read a book that is sitting on my desk. Damn, it appears that it is never going to end. It’s been all over the news and I’ve been watching the developments over the last few days but I still have my reservations with the plan. Over the past 80 years we have created a number of social programs to help fellow Americans that were unable to reach acceptable living standards. In this month I need to Finish a business math class, Word class, Excel class, Molecular Biology and Tissue culture. This is a whole lot of stuff to do but it’s the only things keeping me from me and [...] This is going to be a taxing weekend. I get out of work early to eat dinner with Jessica’s family (who recently joked that I might as well call them in-laws – you can draw whatever conclusion you wish from that remark) prior to her graduation ceremony from Bates (technical school) where she is [...] I have not posted anything of relative substance for quite some time as I’ve been busy doing this and that… it also doesn’t help that I only have a scant few readers so I’m less inclined to actually write something. Imagine if I was recieving 1,000 visits per day instead of the 10-15 unique [...] I’ve been trying to get out of my current career field for a few years now and the chance is upon me.
