Nothing much as happened worth writing about thus far since the year has begun. So, instead, I’ll do a quick recap of things that happened since my last missive. Jessica and I had a very travel packed trip around the country so that we could be together over the holidays. I drove for [...] Over the weekend I went north to visit some family. My aunt has been battling cancer for quite some time and has been in the hospital for a little more than a month. I was hoping to talk to my aunt while I was there but it wasn’t meant to be. We’ve been busy hanging out with the extended family, attending weddings, playing with the dogs, cleaning the house, and we’ve been having a great time doing all of that. You’re aware of my temperament. You know that I like to rant and I fly off the handle with ease. This blog (in its various incarnations) has been a venue for [...] For the last two years I’ve traveled north with the Loveless clan to spend the Thanksgiving weekend in cold and occasionally snowy B.C. We ran dogs, played pool, board games, and ate as much of Paula’s food as we could cram down our gullets. This year we’re spending Thanksgiving at our home but [...] On Saturday I woke up feeling like death warmed over. Jessica started feeling like garbage on Sunday morning. Since that time, we haven’t been able to do much. Sure, we scrounge for some food and leave the house to get the necessary supplies but we have to trade turns with the walker/shopping cart that [...] Over the weekend Jessica and I traveled across the country to mess with my parents and attend Grant and Sheena’s wedding.
