My invested interest in this season of football is effectively over. My team, the Chicago Bears, had a surprisingly good season despite early predictions. I knew that we still had some holes in our lineup that would cause problems throughout the season. Our largest problem, in my opinion, is a lack of a solid [...] Over the weekend Jessica and I traveled across the country to mess with my parents and attend Grant and Sheena’s wedding. We’ve been planning on attending their wedding for more [...] I haven’t golfed a round of 18 in quite a while. The last time I played I was with my dad and uncles and we played best ball. When my shots flew errant it wasn’t a big deal because we didn’t necessarily have to play where my golf ball landed. On Saturday I played [...] I have been threatened with dire consequences should I engage in March Mustache Madness and frankly – I might still try and grow a gnarly ‘stache. After budgeting some money in for our cars, we decided to splurge on ourselves. Friday night John and I decided that we were going to go snowboarding at Steven’s Pass. We threw together our stuff and ended up having some friends over for [...] Well, it’s all over. The turkey is demolished and the wrapping paper is in shreds. All in all it went pretty well. On Christmas Eve, my grandparents aunts uncles cousin parents sister and bro in law all came over for Christmas dinner. I cooked my 26lb turkey and it was really yummy if I [...] It’s 11:46 and Jessica and I still have an hour left of prep tonight for our party tomorrow. We’ve got a bit of prep to do tomorrow but most of the hard work is done. It will take us a few hours to get into our costumes – it should be fun. More [...] I thought this clip was funny when I first saw it on SNL. It’s even funnier now that I’ve seen this video. Really? Who picked this woman? She doesn’t even give the SNL cast a chance to write thier own lines making fun of her, she does it herself. Yesterday was a bad day in the financial markets. It was also a bad day for taxpayers – hello $85 billion dollar loan! I hope we get a good return… well… just a return on our investment. Some people had some fun with the plethora of reporters hanging around the financial district.
