They will not be denied their right to vote
Students from Prairie View A&M have grown tired of legislation that makes it hard for them to vote. So, as anyone should, they’ve protested their situation in a creative way.
The county government decided to offer a poll at only one location in Waller Co. Texas. As a result, the student body marched en mass to the polling place – 7 miles away. Their plan is to tie up the two voting machines for the open to close in protest of the lack of polling places. Read the article – cool stuff – way to go students!

It’s all changing
I came back from Texas to start my new job. The changes, thus far, have been huge. I go home at the end of the day physically exhausted. I’m sure that in time I’ll get used to the grunt labor but for now I’m struggling. I’ve had a NCO rank for almost a year but I’ve never actually supervised troops… until now. When I went through ALS I thought I knew everything but now I feel that I’m reaching back and trying to remember all of that stuff. Its a daunting task but I’m sure that I can do it. I’ve got some good supervisors that have said they are more than willing to help me do this.
I’ll probably only be working at Target on the weekends as we are prone to work longer than our scheduled hours. Sure, I loose a few dollars here and there but its not going to break the bank.

People
I wish I could interact with others
I’ve never been able to do it easily
I often try to hard
I can’t wait to leave Texas
edit: I spoke too soon, I should learn to live with a positive attitude for more than 2 minutes at a time

Texas and school
I’m hanging out in Texas for the next two weeks to take a class that will allow me to upgrade to the next skill level in my current career field. I’ve read through most of the material that they’ve given me and it seems that I won’t be learning all that much in my time here. Its not that they aren’t teaching us anything its just that I already know the majority of what they are going to teach.
