I’ve done a little bit of traveling in the past few days and I’ve got one more leg of the trip before its all over and I reach my final destination. I’m set to get on a plane and travel half way across the planet away from everyone that I know and love. I’m headed to Iraq for another 4 month stint in what should be a relatively easy trip. I’ve got my bags packed and this time my [...] Over the weekend Jessica and I traveled across the country to mess with my parents and attend Grant and Sheena’s wedding. The second part of that sentence probably made sense but the first part should have you asking questions – let me divulge the details. We’ve been planning on attending their wedding for more [...] Jessica and I are constantly rearranging our schedules. Each week we find that more and more things are pushed to the wayside as we try to fit everything in. Our latest casualty might be going camping this year. I don’t think we have a free weekend available until Labor Day and I’m not even [...] There was a point in time where I would spend hours looking for something that interested me. I would spend days on the internet trying to stay entertained and I would share much of what I found here, at this blog. Lately, however, I’ve found that life outside the internet is far more fulfilling [...] I grew up in the Midwest and learned to drive on sheets of ice. Washington residents, on the other hand, forget how to drive when the sun is hidden by clouds. I thought it was bad when traffic slowed to crawl when it rained – something it does quite frequently.
