  I hate the band Nickleback. They represent everything I hate in “commercial” rock music. Their songs are laughable… and now someone has made me laugh at their interpretation of a nickleback song. If I could change one thing – the singer would be sitting on a toilet trying to squeeze out a turd while singing this song – thats how I imagine every nickleback concert – with the lead singer sitting on a toilet and trying to sing while constipated.

  The first 90 seconds of this video is what made me want to share it. The rest is a bad song that I really don’t like all that much. Well, its not a bad song per say but I don’t like it so I think its a bad song. Watch (and listen) as people make rain with nothing but their bodies.

  This mashup was recorded at various places across the planet and mixed to create an amazing compilation. The run-time is around five minutes but it is one of the greatest versions of this song I’ve ever heard. It’s probably the coolest thing I have heard in the past month.

• Can’t sleep, too much time and talent, and zombies

  Par for the course during the first week of mid-shift is an inability to sleep throughout the “night.” I only got four hours of sleep and I’m wide awake now. There is no going back to sleep and I will be exhausted by the time I go to bed tomorrow. Luckily, day two always turns out better and I’m able to get a solid six hours of sleep.

  This guy (video below) has far too much time and talent on his hands. Bravo!

  Jessica and I had our party and we dressed as zombies for Halloween. The makeup took quite a while but I think the effect was pretty darn good. Yes – we like brains!
